Memorabilia

Share your momentos with us!

The SAIM project seeks physical or digital artifacts to enrich the published record.

Besides archives, published books and the memories of individuals, have you considered that you might have forgotten treasures by way of memorabilia languishing in trunks and cupboards that might help historians construct a fuller, richer account of this time period?

Memorabilia can include letters, diaries, speeches/lectures, unpublished poetry or short stories, albums/scrapbooks, photographs, films, videotapes and audiotapes or other objects or artifacts that might have relevance to events or persons involved in the independence movement.

Prospective donors are requested to provide as much information as possible about the significance of these memorabilia contributed to the South Asian Independence Movement Collection. Indications about the time period when and the places where the memorabilia was collected or created, its implication for current events, as well as fully descriptive narratives about the object or item itself will be of interest to researchers.
